People’s Alliance Federal Credit Union, Brooklyn, N.Y., held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new office on Atlantic Avenue. PAFCU recently opened this branch to meet the growing needs of an ever-expanding membership. It operates as a full-service financial facility and has a 24-hour ATM located outside. Marine Federal Credit Union, Jacksonville, N.C., celebrated the grand opening of its newest branch aboard Camp Lejeune recently. Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Colonel Adele Hodges, along with Marine FCU’s board, management, staff and invited guests attended the ribbon cutting ceremony. Colonel Hodges officiated the ribbon cutting ceremony for the CU. The building is 4,500 square feet with three drive-up lanes and two ATMs. Putnam Federal Credit Union, Carmel, N.Y., recently opened its newest branch in Brewster Towne Center. This full service branch will offer a 24-hour ATM and after-hours deposits. The completely refurbished location was designed and constructed by PW Campbell of Pittsburg. A grand opening celebration was held with a live radio broadcast from Y105 FM, a grand prize giveaway, light refreshments and more. Those who opened a new membership account received a free gift. Christian Community Credit Union, San Dimas, Calif., celebrated the opening of its new Corporate Office and San Dimas Branch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and building dedication recently. The new branch includes a walk-up 24-hour ATM, three teller windows and also serves as a shared branch location. Designed and built by Matlock Associates, the state-of-the-art 25,000 square-foot, two-story facility includes a community room, training room and employee lounge. A total of 76 employees occupy the new office. San Antonio Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, recently announced the grand opening of its newest full-service branch on Applewhite Road and Lone Star Pass. The new branch offers high-tech services, the choice of using automated Remote Tellers or talking with a teller face to face, the convenience of drive-up teller lanes and a lobby ATM. This branch is the 16th full-service location in the greater San Antonio area to serve members. Jax Federal Credit Union, Jacksonville, Fla., opened the doors to its newest branch on the Northside recently, bringing its total locations to 10. The CU has additional expansion plans for 2007. The new branch is 1,400 square feet and includes new automatic cash dispensers (eliminating the need for teller cash drawers), as well as a coin-counting machine and a drive-up ATM in the parking lot. Teachers Federal Credit Union, Farmingville, N.Y., recently held the grand opening of not one, but two full-service branch offices, one in Smithtown and one in Riverhead. This follows the opening of new branches in Rocky Point and Central Islip earlier this year. The new branches offer 24-hour ATMs, free coin machine service and convenient access. The opening celebrations featured various raffles and giveaways.
