NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Langley Federal Credit Union has helpedarea military families send messages of support and encouragementto deployed loved ones via Webcasts.

The over $1 billion credit union hosted Operation Best Wishes, anational program that sets up mobile Webcast studios at selectedcredit unions and gives families up to 10 minutes each to recordand send special greetings. The deployed loved one can either watchthe Webcast message live or access the archived recording for up tosix months.

Operation Best Wishes is offered free to families by America'sCredit Unions, through WesCorp Federal Credit Union and the DefenseCredit Union Council. The program, currently in its 2007 nationaltour, is visiting credit unions and military families in Alaska,California, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Utah, andVirginia.

Plans are already underway to make a stop March 16-17 atWrightstown, N.J.-based Andrews Federal Credit Union. Militaryfamilies have been eagerly reserving Webcast sessions for theupcoming visit.
