CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Only 8% of American households paid bills online in 1999. By 2011, that figure should soar to 63%, according to a study by Forrester Research. The growth rate for Generation Y online bill payers will be a whopping 157% from 2006 to 2011, the think firm calculates.
