"Enterprise risk management is becoming a reality for all businesses, especially those in the financial services industry," said Lee Butke, president/CEO of Corporate One Federal Credit Union. "ERM is more than just managing risk and staying in compliance, although those elements are certainly part of it. ERM, by definition is primarily designed to provide a reasonable assurance that an organization is able to achieve its goals. That's why ERM is so important."
