ST. LOUIS — Anheuser-Busch Employees Credit Union will be strengthening its online authentication services through software token technology from OHVA Security, the company says.
The SoundPass software uses a Java-based applet instead of hardware to allow users to save their log-on information on any device they choose, including computer hard drive, USB thumb drive, CDs or OHVA's own hardware tokens, the company says.
Users can enable or disable the software key at any time. The system also can be configured by the credit union or the member to be used for on-demand verification for sensitive or high-risk transactions such as wire transfers.
Anheuser-Busch Employees CU (www.abecu.org) has about 90,000 members and $840 million in assets and is based in St. Louis. OHVA Security (www.ohvasecurity.com) is based in Milpitas, Calif.
