TDECU, Lake Jackson, Texas, recently held its groundbreaking ceremony for an administrative center that will house a full-service branch, data processing center, and a call center. The building is scheduled to open in June 2007. TDECU plans to initially hire 30 people with the potential for more to staff the new administrative center/branch. California Credit Union, Glendale, Calif., celebrated the grand reopening of its Glendale Branch. All were invited to celebrate with wine and cheese and CCU giveaways. The CU also ran a sweepstakes to win one of five $100 Visa gift cards. During the event, CCU presented donations of $1,000 to each of the following organizations: Glendale Educational Foundation, Glendale College Foundation, and the Eagle Rock Elementary Education Foundation. TopLine Federal Credit Union, Maple Grove, Minn., broke ground for its new Brooklyn Park Branch. The 5,300 square foot facility will open next summer. The Brooklyn Park facility will be the fifth TopLine branch in the Twin Cities area and will feature all the credit union’s full-service banking products, including mortgages, business services and investment services.
