MADISON, Wis. — Credit unions looking for another business lending program resource have the Credit Union Executives Society to turn to. CUES has expanded its business lending program to include a Basics of Business Lending seminar, which will make its debut March 21-23 at The Fairmont Dallas. The session's topics include strategic issues involved in implementing and organizing business lending services and the policies and procedures credit unions need.

CUES has also put together a new, three-week School of Business Lending for credit union leaders who are pursuing the development of a business lending program or for those who already have a program in place, but want a benchmark to assure they are proceeding correctly. The format includes School I: Business Lending Fundamentals to take place May 7-11; School II: Financial Analysis and Diagnostic Assessment, Aug. 6-10; and School III: Strategic Business Lending, Oct. 29-Nov. 2.

A free Webinar titled “Managing Growth-The Silent Killer,” will be held Feb. 22 at 10:00 a.m. CST and aims to help credit unions recognize rates of business growth that are reasonable and bankable and identify the right asset mix required to support their sales projections.
