SAN DIMAS, Calif. — WesCorp wants to be in the Webcast business and it has the acquisition to prove it.
The nation's largest corporate has completed the purchase of CIA Studios.
CIA Studios, which specializes in Webcasting, was part of credit union consulting firm Counterintelligence Associates, which was bought last year by The Rochdale Group, a new credit union consulting firm spearheaded by former U.S. Central CEO Dan Kampen.

WesCorp has had a partnership with CIA Studios for the last three years and has produced a number of Webcasts. It also utilizes Webcast technology for its popular Operation Best Wishes program, which allows families to send video messages to their loved ones overseas.
WesCorp is expected to rename the unit and plans to expand its Webcast program. WesCorp will also add additional IT support and investment to broaden its capabilities.
"As a premier financial education resource within the credit union industry, WesCorp wishes to increase its educational programming to all credit unions, creating many new internal, member and public presentations for placement on our Web-based delivery channels," said Joe Keller, WesCorp's manager of Webcasting services. "As we looked to the future of Webcasting, both CIA Studios and WesCorp realized that improvements could not be made to our current level of Webcast technology and quality service without additional resources. This prompted the exchange of ownership we are announcing today."
