WASHINGTON — The Federal Reserve Board has announced 10 new members to its Consumer Advisory Council for three-year terms, none of which are credit union representatives.
The new members represent credit reporting agencies, credit counselors, financial institutions, and others. CUNA had nominated Lee Williams, president/CEO of Central Star Credit Union in Wichita, Kan., for a seat.
Faith Anderson, general counsel for American Airlines Federal Credit Union, continues to serve on the council through 2007.

The Fed also named Lisa Sodeika, executive vice president of Corporate Affairs for HSBC North America Holdings, Inc., as the new chair through December 2007, and Tony Brown, president/CEO of Uptown Consortium, Inc., as vice chair through December 2008.
