PLACERVILLE, Calif. — El Dorado County residents will get to know SAFE Credit Union better with the opening of the CU's first Placerville branch.

The new full-service branch–SAFE's 17th in the region–marks an expansion of SAFE's services in the Sierra Foothills, where the credit union seeks to increase accessibility for existing members and build its account base outside Sacramento.

The grand opening weekend celebrations included a variety of special offers, including opportunities to win one of four $250 gift certificates to Raleys with the opening of a new checking account. Visitors also signed up for a six-month, 0% interest offer with balance transfers to SAFE's Platinum Rewards Visa.
