NEW YORK — Helped along by North American banks, credit unions, investment houses and other financial services, global IT spending is expected to increase in 2007, according to a new report from Celent, LLC. The research and advisory firm also found that maintenance of existing equipment and software, and compliance concerns were the largest drivers of continued IT investment.
