BOISE, Idaho — As former Congressman Butch Otter (R-Idaho) makes the transition from U.S. congressman to Idaho's new governor, he has announced a number of state agency heads that he plans to keep on and others that will be changing.

One that will not change, according to a report in The Idaho Statesman, is Idaho Department of Finance Director Gavin Gee. The director started his career at the agency in 1977 as an examiner, according to NASCUS, and was appointed acting director in 1995 and, subsequently, director.

He has been a long-time NASCUS member, is a former chair of the organization and received the NASCUS Pierre Jay Award in 1999 for his outstanding service, leadership and commitment to NASCUS and the dual chartering system.
