KIMBERLY, Wis. — For its efforts to ensure that those in need can continue to live affordably, Capital Credit Union recently received the Founding Sponsor Award from Rebuilding Together Fox Valley.

Rebuilding Together Fox Valley was founded in 1999 with a mission to preserve and revitalize homes and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners can continue to live independently. Volunteers repair and rebuild the homes of those in need. Since 2000, it has repaired and rehabilitated 86 homes and nine nonprofit facilities in the Fox Valley, Wis. area in the zip codes of Appleton, Combined Locks, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Little Chute, Menasha and Neenah. Tim Wyngaard, Capital's vice president of lending, serves as secretary on the RTFV board of directors. The $247 million Capital CU serves more than 30,000 members.
