LATHAM, N.Y. — Covera Card Solutions, a card processor formerly known as Card Services for the New York Credit Union League and still an affiliate, saw its ATM base increase 12% in its inaugural year, the firm said.
"We have much to be thankful for as we enter the holiday season," said Kimberly McCumber, vice president for Covera. "We have a stellar professional team which fosters our business relationships, enabling us to grow. We are also grateful to our business clients for their ongoing confidence in us."
In the past year, Covera has grown its ATM client base by 12%, introduced free "live" Webinars on multiple card-related topics, and expanded that program by creating an "on demand" Webinar library from those sessions, which allows for more staff from member credit unions to train in the comfort of their respective offices, the firm said. Covera Card Solutions' one-year anniversary also marks the success of three marketing campaigns created to help member credit unions promote and expand their credit and debit card programs. The processor also plans to keep the momentum going with its first-ever joint meeting. Together with New England Credit Union Services and the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association, Covera is holding the first annual Northeast Plastic Card Forum.
