RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. -- The 26th Annual XP Systems CustomerConference took place October 16-19 in Rancho Mirage, Calif. XPSystems is a credit union data processing subsidiary of Fiserv.Attendance topped 450 credit union employees, business partners,and XP Systems personnel. In the general session opening, XPSystems President John Edwards and XP Systems Executive VicePresident Mark DeLio discussed the company's vision. MarkSievewright of Fiserv discussed trends and consolidation in thecredit union industry and wrapping up the session, astronaut andformer Space Shuttle Commander Rick Searfoss compared thechallenges of taking a craft into space to the challenges faced bybusiness leaders today. Two days of breakout sessions presented newproducts from XP Systems including XP2 ComCore (commercial servicesintegrated in the core system) and new products from Fiservbusiness partners, such as the Wisdom Accounting Suite. Otherbusiness partners among the 38 vendor companies in attendanceincluded PEMCO and IMM. A lab was available throughout theconference for attendees to work hands-on with new software.
