KENT, Ohio — Kent Credit Union President/CEO Rose Bartolomucci has accepted a CEO position with Vantage Financial Credit Union in Brook Park, Ohio, and will begin her new position on Nov. 16.

Bartolomucci has served as the president/CEO of KCU from April 1985 to November 2006.

"Kent Credit Union has been a very important part of my life these past 22 years. Many of our members are my friends…I have enjoyed the friendship and camaraderie of community business associates…the KCU Board of Directors and staff have been wonderful people to work with. My decision to leave and begin another segment of my career was a very difficult one to make, but the right one for me at this time in my life," said Bartolomucci in a statement. Bartolomucci has been very active in the credit union movement over the years and has held various positions locally, statewide and nationally. She currently serves as chairman of CUES, chairman of the Ohio Credit Union Foundation, is a member of the Ohio Credit Union System board of directors, and is a board member for OCULAC/OCULPAC. Professional accomplishments Bartolomucci considers highlights of her career are when she testified before the U.S. Congress House Banking Committee on behalf of CUNA & Affiliates for H.R. 1151–The Credit Union Access Act, in 1998, and when she testified on behalf of this same Act before the United States House Banking Committee in 1998.
