Credit Union Central Falls, Smithfield, R.I., named William Cruz bilingual loan originator. HarborOne Credit Union, Brockton, Mass., has promoted Joseph F. Casey to executive vice president and chief financial officer. Service Credit Union, Portsmouth, N.H., has appointed Penelope Benson and Hyla Richmond to member service representatives, level I at it’s Keene Branch; Petra Hoffman, Lisa Logan, and Karen Mayer to member service representatives at its Salem location; Desiree Fleuriel to member service representative I at its Rochester Branch; and Sarah Gagne to financial service representative I at its Manchester Branch. The CU has also promoted Nicholas Dobroski and Shawn St. Laurent to contact center representatives II; Ashley Emmons and Samantha Dowe-Merchant to CCR IIIs; and Stephanie Burton to indirect lending administrative assistant. Baylands Federal Credit Union, West Point, Va., recently announced its President/CEO Margie Elliot will be the first to officially retire from the credit union. She has been with the credit union for 30 years and has watched it grow from the very beginning; she was one of two employees. The credit union went from two employees to 40, and assets from $16,000 to over $69 million during Elliot’s tenure. STCU Credit Union, Springfield, Mass., has appointed Jennifer Reiszel to assistant vice president for retail operations. Affinity Federal Credit Union, Basking Ridge, N.J., recently announced that David Snodgrass, senior vice president, strategy, business development and human resources, has been chosen as a winner of the new CUES Rising 100, a recognition program that acknowledges the next generation of credit union leaders.
