ATLANTA — Delta Community Credit Union has hired two new vice presidents to steer its business services and business development programs.

Larry Bloom will head up the business and community development area while Eric King will lead business services, a new focus for the $2.4 billion credit union.

Bloom is responsible for existing group memberships and for developing further business through the addition of new select groups and organizations and community involvement initiatives through local organizations and chambers of commerce. King's responsibilities will involve developing a comprehensive business services program for Delta Community, with the latest in deposit and lending products geared to small business.

"Delta Community wants to provide a complete range of financial services designed to benefit small business owners, and we believe offering strong business products and no-cost employee benefits through credit union membership are two excellent ways to strengthen our credit union," said Rick Foley, president/CEO, Delta Community.

This month marks the one-year anniversary that the credit union converted to a community charter, expanding its field of membership beyond Delta Air Lines.
