RICHARDSON, Texas - Texans Credit Union hosted various U.S. military personnel and their families at the Dr. Pepper Ballpark recently as the Frisco RoughRiders took on the Springfield Cardinals. Not only did the group enjoy one of America's favorite pastimes, but they also were able to see the RoughRiders pull off a close victory. Texans Credit Union hosted the outing based on a partnership the credit union has with the USO of Dallas/Fort Worth. "We are proud to show our appreciation and support for the men and women in uniform who sacrifice so much for our country," said David Addison, Texans Credit Union president/CEO. USO-DFW provides free Internet and e-mail access, library, television, gaming and lounge areas, refreshments, and travel assistance to military personnel. Texans is committed to a partnership with the USO that includes an online donation campaign, volunteering for send off's and welcoming the troops at DFW Airport as well as hosting members of the military and their families at Frisco RoughRiders games each year.
