WASHINGTON — Congresswoman Judy Biggert (R-Ill.) was the latest to agree to speak at NAFCU’s Congressional Caucus at press time. Biggert will be the featured speaker at the NAFCU/PAC breakfast held in conjunction with Congressional Caucus Wed., Sept. 20. Biggert is a member of the House Financial Services Committee and a founding member and the co-chair of the Financial and Economic Literacy Caucus. Other scheduled congressional speakers at NAFCU’s Caucus Sept. 17-20 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. include House Financial Services Committee Chairman Mike Oxley (R-Ohio) and Ranking Member Barney Frank (D-Mass.), Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee Chairman Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.) and Ranking Member Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), House reg relief author Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas), original CURIA co-sponsors Ed Royce (R-Calif.) and Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa.), and National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Reynolds (R-N.Y.).
