OGDEN, Utah — Longtime Loan Review Committee Member Sherman E. Sewell has retired from service.
Sewell began volunteering in 1965 as a field representative and was elected to the credit committee in 1970. That group became known as the Loan Review Committee in May of 2003 when America First converted to a federal charter.
Sewell said he is very proud of his work on the committee, helping loan applicants resolve their financial questions in a responsible manner.

Sewell is a graduate of Weber State College, enjoyed a long and distinguished career at Hill Air Force Base, and completed CUNA's Volunteer Achievement Program.
