WASHINGTON — CUNA is calling for any nominations to fill the eight board seats to expire in February.
The deadline for nominations is Oct. 13 and voting will take place Oct. 18 and Dec. 18. The seats up for re-election are District 1, Class C; District 2, Class A; District 3, Class B; District 4, Class C; District 5, Class B and D; and District 6, Class A and D. The districts basically represent NCUA's old six districts and Classes A, B, and C are based on the number of members at the credit union while Class D represents the state leagues.
Current sitting board members have served an extra five months with the move of the annual general meeting from the Future Forum formerly held in September/October to the Government Affairs Conference in February. CUNA made the change after announcing the group was moving its Future Forum to June.
