SANTA ROSA, Calif. — Redwood Credit Union's latest branch in Point Arena, Calif. brings its total branch network to 12.
"We're looking forward to serving the coastal communities with a full-service RCU branch," said RCU President/CEO Brett Martinez. "We have a long tradition of offering tremendous value and service, and we look forward to continuing this level of service for residents and businesses in the area."
Approached by Oakland-based Inwood Credit Union to purchase its Point Arena branch several months ago, RCU agreed to assume the role as financial services provider in Point Arena. The agreement includes the purchase of all assets and liabilities of the ICU Point Arena branch, and all ICU Point Arena staffers staying on board to continue to serve members.

ICU's 789 Members in the area have been notified of the transition, and their accounts transitioned to RCU on August 1.
The new branch offers full-service financial services for both consumers and small business owners, and the site includes a walk-up ATM.
