COLUMBUS, Ohio — Corporate credit unions and credit union league item processors have been linking up with image exchange networks such as Endpoint Exchange and SVPCO, but they are also looking for direct connects with major financial institutions in their areas. Corporate One said it has started interfacing with the Treasury Services business of JPMorgan Chase Bank to present image cash letters. JPMorgan Chase is the largest volume processor in the U.S. by dollar clearing. Corporate One also has a direct relationship with KeyBank. It receives items from EndPoint Exchange and sends to the Federal Reserve in Cleveland. “One of the reasons we hooked up with Chase is they are a big player here but also in the country,” said Marcus Wannemacher, vice president of operations for Corporate One. Corporate One has 300 CU branches in the pipeline to adopt its Automated Capture & Exchange solution. By the end of August, it estimates it will have 65 branches up and running, and it adds approximately two branches a day to image exchange.
