BISMARK, N.D. — When the North Dakota Credit Union Leagueoffered affiliated credit unions a cruise to Alaska, theypassed–passed it right along to their members.

Credit union members across North Dakota gathered last month fora 10-day land/cruise tour of Alaska courtesy of their creditunions. “Many of our credit unions offer local travel options totheir members, but don't have the resources to offer bigger trips,”league Communications Coordinator Tina Mitchell explained. “We feltthis was a great way to build member loyalty. We gathered thecredit union passengers together on the first night of the ship fora credit union social where they could visit with other membersfrom across the state.”

Passengers flew to Anchorage July 18 where they took a luxurioustrain ride to Mount McKinley and Denali National Park. The creditunion members skipped over to Fairbanks, famous from the gold rushera, then cruised south to Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, whilecruising into Hubbard Glacier, Icy Point Strait, and the InsidePassage before concluding in Vancouver on July 28.
