DULUTH, Ga. — Georgia Federal Credit Union has added another credit union to its fold.

The $611,000 Madison County Georgia Federal Credit Union has merged into the $400 million credit union effective July 1. The merger doubles the resources currently available to Madison County Georgia FCU's 631 members, according to Georgia FCU.

Earlier this year, $7 million University Employees FCU merged with Georgia FCU. That merger brought 3,000 new members to the credit union. Georgia FCU serves 77,000 members and has 14 branches.
