MADISON, Wis. – The CUES Marketing Department was recently honored with an Apex Grand Award in the Campaigns, Programs and Plans category, for its multi-faceted Choose CUES campaign. It was the only Grand Award presented in the nonprofit division. The campaign, which spanned nearly three years, included a refreshed Web site with streaming video, a variety of print ads and direct mail pieces, a corporate video on DVD, a redesigned trade show booth and more.

The concept for the campaign was integrated in copy and art, and was used throughout CUES corporate identity initiatives.

CUES Credit Union Management magazine was also awarded Apex Awards of Excellence in the categories of Magazines & Journals-Writing and Magazines & Journals-Cover Design.

The design of the 2006 CUES Media Kit garnered another Apex Award of Excellence in the category of Catalogs, Directories & Buyers Guides, along with CUES 2006 Exhibit and Sponsorship Guide in the Conference & Meeting Materials category.

This year's APEX competition included nearly 5,000 entries in 11 major categories and 102 subcategories. This is the fifth consecutive year that CUES has been recognized with an Apex Award; since 2000, CUES has received 12 awards.
