LAS VEGAS – Add San Antonio FCU's name to the growing list of credit unions that are using CU Direct's CUDL platform for their indirect loans.
The $1.9 billion credit union, the fourth largest CU auto lender in the U.S. and the second largest in its market, signed an agreement with CU Direct last month to use the CUDL software to process indirect auto loans it does for its own approximately 235,000 members and those of 20 other CUs through its wholly-owned indirect lending CUSO called CARS.
For the past three years, SACU has used the DealerTrack platform, but Chuck Smith, first vice president, director of lending, said the credit union made the switch to the CUDL platform because "it's credit union owned and gives us the functionality we need."
