WASHINGTON – America's Community Bankers announced its slate of nominees for officers and directors of the national banking trade for 2007.
Nominated to one-year terms were:
* Chairman – Mark E. Macomber, president and CEO, Litchfield Bancorp, Litchfield, Conn. Macomber currently serves as ACB first vice chairman.

* First Vice Chairman – Arthur R. Connelly, chairman and CEO, South Shore Savings Bank, South Weymouth, Mass. Connelly currently serves as chairman of ACB's Government Affairs Steering Committee.
* Second Vice Chairman – Frederick Willetts III, chairman, president and CEO, Cooperative Bank, Wilmington, N.C. Willetts is a former member of ACB's board of directors and currently serves as vice chairman of the SEC and Corporate Governance Committee.
* Immediate Past Chairman – F. Weller Meyer, chairman, president and CEO, Acacia Federal Savings Bank, Falls Church, Va. Meyer is currently ACB's chairman.
ACB also nominated 15 bankers to serve three-year terms on its board of directors. Additionally, Joseph M. Guerra, president, Turnberry Bank, Aventura, Fla., was nominated to serve one year representing ACB's MBank Council and Daniel Forte, president and CEO of the Massachusetts Bankers Association, will serve one year representing state organization members.
The election and installation will take place at ACB's annual convention, Oct. 15-18, in San Diego.
