MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Aaron “Arcky” Familant will be remembered for his trusting demeanor and tenacity for pushing the credit union movement forward.

Familant, 85, died July 10. He was a leader in the credit union movement for nearly 50 years having served on the board at Progressive Credit Union from 1959 until the time of his death. Familant also served as a director and president of the New York State Credit Union League and a director at CUNA.
