ONTARIO, Calif. – The $2.4 billion Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union has signed up with the CO-OP Network, the surcharge-free ATM network subsidiary of CO-OP Financial Services, the CO-OP has announced.

This represents something of a milestone for the cooperative since a few Texas CUs have established surcharge-free networks among themselves and the CO-OP has begun to focus on attracting CUs in the Southwest part of the U.S.

"Several factors played into our decision to join CO-OP," says Christopher O'Connor, a senior vice president with Randolph-Brooks. "Our credit union has a very mobile membership, so providing surcharge-free access to thousands of ATMs across North America and on overseas military bases makes good business sense. Plus, with the recent agreement between CO-OP and 7-Eleven convenience stores [that placed CO-OP Network ATMs in 5,500 stores across the country], our members gain even more convenient access to their funds."
