HOUSTON - Credit unions running the ULTRADATA core platform arenow being offered the overdraft payment program from Strunk &Associates of Houston. Strunk's Overdraft Privilege program is nowin place at more than 1,250 institutions, the company says, and themarketing alliance with Atlanta-based Harland Financial Solutionsgives it possible entre to approximately 450 of Harland's clientcredit unions. Credit unions using the Strunk system can generatenon-sufficient funds fee income while "remaining in absolutecompliance with current regulations and best practices," thecompany says. "Credit unions are an important part of our targetmarket, and Harland Financial Solutions' ULTRADATA System has beenwell-received by credit unions nationwide," says Dick Gowdy,executive vice president of Strunk and Associates. "This allianceenables both companies to more efficiently serve the market. We canalso serve as an information resource for credit unions shoppingthe services we provide."
