NEWBURGH, Ind. – Heritage Federal Credit Union has recently been named the Territorial Corporate Volunteer of the Year by the Salvation Army. The award is presented to one company within a 10-state area. Heritage Federal has enjoyed a strong working relationship with the Salvation Army and was quick to mobilize volunteers for the Salvation Army canteen following the November 6th tornado. HFCU employees have also raised funds and collected toys for the Salvation Army. "A total of 10 states were in the running for the Territorial Award. So, HFCU is way on the top for volunteerism," said Salvation Army Director of Development Amy Kroeger.
