ALEXANDRIA, Va. – State Department Federal Credit Union has joined the roster of government-related CUs using the compliance and geo-coding software from QuestSoft Corp. The $850 million SDFCU will be using the HMDA RELIEF and Instant Geocoder compliance software from the Laguna Hills, Calif. company to ensure the credit union follows HMDA regulations and Federal Reserve Board submission requirements in its lending, as well as to verify addresses and census information. "We selected QuestSoft's HMDA RELIEF and Instant Geocoder to simplify our compliance processes and enable us to maintain a strong focus on better serving our members," says Don DiMatteo, director of lending for 64,000-member SDFCU (www.sdfcu.org). "By adopting these software solutions, we have greatly reduced the number of hours and manpower dedicated to compliance without compromising the quality or timeliness of submissions." The client list at QuestSoft (www.questsoft.com) also includes NASA FCU, Pentagon FCU, Navy FCU, Air Force Academy FCU and United Nations FCU. The company says it serves more than 1,500 credit unions, banks and mortgage companies nationwide.
