WASHINGTON – NAFCU has scheduled several key government leaders to address the organization's Congressional Caucus taking place September 17-20 at Washington, D.C.'s Grand Hyatt.

Retiring House Financial Services Committee Chairman Mike Oxley (R-Ohio) will speak during the conference as well as his Democratic counterpart Barney Frank (Mass.). Additionally, Congressman Ed Royce (R-Calif.), the main sponsor of the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 2317), and Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa.), an original co-sponsor, will take the stage.

NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson has accepted the invitation to speak and NAFCU is continuing to work with Vice Chairman Rodney Hood and Board Member Gigi Hyland's offices to set up speeches.

Larry Sabato of the University of Virginia's Center for Politics will keynote the event, for which NAFCU is expecting about 500 attendees according to Director of Political Affairs Murray Chanow.
