WEST JORDAN, Utah – Mountain America Credit Union continues to reach out to a business audience with the launch of its business services campaign.
The $1.8 billion credit union has been offering business services for about two years, but has recently made some changes to the department's infrastructure including the addition of a brand new Women's Financial Services Network. Earlier this spring, it held an open house reacquainting the community with its business services staff and services. More than 125 people turned out for the event.
Throughout June, the credit union has been promoting business services by displaying billboards, running ads in newspapers, magazine and on radio, displaying in-branch posters, sending out direct mail pieces and posting information on its ATM screens. The campaign will promote the different areas including Small Business Administration lending, commercial lending, business service accounts, Women's Financial Services Network, and select member services and commercial insurance products, the CU said.

"We meet a lot of people who say, `didn't know you offered those services,' so we have created a marketing campaign to help spread the word," said Michael Turner, senior vice president of commercial lending.

It also has about $35 million SBA loans on the books. Business deposits account for $136 million. For several years, it has remained the top credit union SBA lender in the country. [email protected]
