WASHINGTON – As the Federal Reserve Board seeks nominees to its Consumer Advisory Council, CUNA has said it will continue to push for more than one credit union representative. CUNA Deputy General Counsel Mary Dunn commented, "I'm sure we will [nominate someone]. That will be the choice of our chairman." She added that CUNA has been working for some time to try to get more than one credit union representative on the council. American Airlines Federal Credit Union General Counsel Faith Anderson currently serves on the council with a term ending next year. The CAC advises the Fed on its duties to consumers under the law. It met last week with its agenda focused on nontraditional mortgages.
