LAS VEGAS – Former CBS Evening News Anchor Dan Rather will keynote the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues’ annual convention this year in Las Vegas.

Rather, currently a correspondent with 60 Minutes, has interviewed every U.S. president since Dwight D. Eisenhower and the major international leaders over the last 30 years. He has received nearly every major honor in broadcast journalism, but left the anchor spot at CBS about a year after he shined a negative light on President Bush’s service in the National Guard based on unauthenticated documents. He will appear at the opening general session Nov. 9 speaking about “Looking at the World.”
