PORTLAND, Ore. – TitleAuctions, a privately-owned company that delivers business-to-consumer and consumer-to-consumer vehicle auction platforms and remarketing training and support, has selected Black Book as its preferred source for valuation of credit union repossessed collateral.

As a result, the company will recommend Black Book to its CU clients for collateral valuation and will begin using the tool internally to track credit union auction results.

Black Book is published by National Auto Research.

In addition, TitleAuctions will integrate the use of BlackBook into its credit union training on setting realistic, market-based floor prices for repossession remarketing.

After testing several valuation sources internally and polling several credit unions about their own experiences, TitleAuctions President Mark Coleman said the company "concluded that Black Book's values are very well-suited to helping credit unions set market-based price expectations for the sale of their repossessions."
