RICHARDSON, Texas - Community-based Texans CU, one of thelargest in the state, has chosen IA Systems' StreamLend Velocityloan origination solution, the company's flagship product, tosupport its direct and indirect lending programs.

The loan processing solution is scheduled to replace the $1.7billion, 160,000-member CU's current custom-built, in-house systemin October 2006.

Texans said it selected StreamLend Velocity because its highlycustomizable structure will allow the CU to meet the lending needsof a growing branch network-Texans has 31 branches. The solution'sconfigurable workflow engine allows users to adapt the system tomeet varying needs for either centralized or decentralized lendingbranch networks. It can assign loan applications to specific loanofficers, by type of loan or by volume.

In addition the solution's open architecture allows for greatercompatibility with other market products.
