ASTON, Pa. – Sun East Federal Credit Union is set to bring financial services directly to its members with its full-service mobile branch. According to Sun East FCU CEO Michael J. Kaczenski, the 32-foot long mobile facility is designed to provide everyone from school children and festival-goers to factory workers and company executives convenient access to the same array of credit-union services found at a permanent branch location with the flexibility to handle transactions during nontraditional branch hours. "The value of credit union membership is not just measured by financial statistics, but by the level of service we provide," said Kaczenski. "The mobile branch is an exciting innovation in technology and convenience that we are proud to bring to our membership and our community." The facility houses interior and outside teller stations, access to two ATMs and an office where members can apply for a loan, open an account, or discuss their financial situation with a member service representative and financial planner. As needed, Sun East will use the mobile unit to provide disaster recovery relief in the event of a fire or power outage and set up a temporary location in new shopping centers or areas without conveniently located financial institutions added Kaczenski.
