MOORPARK, Calif. – More than 500 credit union staffers, business partners and XP Systems employees participated in the Fiserv core processing unit's annual Technology Forum in Texas.

The four-day gathering at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter included 60 breakout sessions covering 25 different technology products, the company says. Presenters included XP2 users Suzanne Pulliam of Commonwealth Central Credit Union of San Jose, Calif., on automated loan decisioning and Ed Machado and Paul Herrera of National First FCU of Santa Clara, Calif. on contact and sales management. Other topics included business continuity, the new health savings accounts, security, fraud prevention and product news from other Fiserv units and partners such as Digital Insight, IMM, Intervoice and PEMCO. The exhibit hall, meanwhile, featured 36 XP Systems business partners and a lab running the newest version of XP2. The company's Annual Customer Conference will be held in October in Rancho Mirage, Calif. XP Systems serves about 300 credit unions across the country. In other news, QualTrust Federal Credit Union is converting to the XP2 core processing system this year.

The $140 million CU cited built-in functionality including contact management and automated decisioning in choosing to go with the new system from XP Systems of Moorpark, Calif.
