HOUSTON - The $3.9 billion Security Service FCU, the 10th largest CU in the country, has continued its relationship with the PULSE EFT Association, one of the leading ATM/EFT networks, which has joined the Discover card brand.
Under the terms of the agreement, PULSE will continue to provide signature debit support services to the San Antonio-based credit union, which operates 20 branches in Texas and eight in Colorado.
A PULSE participant since 1984, Security Service FCU is represented on PULSE's Financial Institution Oversight Committee, as well as the network's Operations Committee.
"Security Service Federal Credit Union has been a key PULSE participant for more than 20 years," said David Schneider, PULSE president. "This extension confirms that PULSE continues to deliver superior value to the electronic banking program of one of the country's largest credit unions."
"SSFCU and PULSE have similar goals and philosophies: to provide financial products and services of the highest value, quality and convenience," said David E. Reynolds, president and CEO of Security Service FCU. "Extending our participation in the PULSE network helps us to continue to meet the financial needs of our members effectively and efficiently."
