TAMPA, Fla. - MacDill Federal Credit Union is helping members escape the ordinary this summer with a new "Field of Dreams" loan campaign. With low rates for loans on almost every mode of transportation that can be used during the summer vacation season from cars, RVs and motorcycles to pleasure boats, the campaign, inspired by the classic baseball movie, is slated to run through July 31.

"This campaign is all about making dreams come true," said MacDill FCU Chief Lending and Operations Officer Kevin Sweeney. "Americans enjoy traveling, and we believe the timing is right to promote the low rates we offer for financing vehicles and watercraft."

A baseball-themed "pitch" meeting kicked off the campaign, which will include a media mix of outdoor, newspaper, radio and online advertising. With the help of fellow teammates from the lending and marketing teams, Sweeny and Senior Vice President of Marketing /Business Development Frank Carter led attendees in a rousing MacDill FCU rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," that got staffers excited about the new campaign. In addition, gift bags filled with "Field of Dreams" promotional merchandise were handed out.
