I was disappointed to find after I voted on Credit Union Times' voting poll about whether we are working in a credit union "movement" or "industry" that so many of my colleagues voted either "no" it is not a movement or it "doesn't matter" whether we are a movement or not. If I wanted to work some place that was an industry, I would have remained at the bank I left 14 years ago. I choose to work in credit unions because it is a higher calling, an opportunity to dramatically improve the quality of life for my community. Kelly V.
