FORT WORTH, Texas – William Quinn, a director at AmericanAirlines Federal Credit Union, has been named to serve on the NewYork Stock Exchange Pension Managers Advisory Committee.

Quinn is also chairman and CEO of American Beacon Advisors,Inc., which manages approximately $48 billion in assets, includingpension and short-term cash assets on behalf of its affiliate,American Airlines Inc., and assets for outside clients such as the$19 billion American Beacon Funds, for which Quinn serves aspresident and trustee.

On the advisory committee, Quinn, along with other seniorexecutives of private and public pension plans and endowment funds,will provide advice on policies, programs, and procedures tostrengthen the U.S. capital markets systems and the efficiency ofthe NYSE's marketplace; the prospective impact of proposedpolicies, rules, and related matters on the interests of pensionmanagers; and ways to enhance communications between the NYSE andpension managers.
