TUKWILA, Wash. – Prime Alliance Solutions used its recent symposium earlier this month to present awards to several credit unions, mortgage CUSOs and lenders that do business with credit unions in recognition for their efforts to help credit unions become better mortgage providers for members.
For the second consecutive year, CU Members Mortgage, a full-service mortgage lender that does business with more than 600 credit unions, CUSOs and leagues nationwide, was recognized for excellence in origination.
Last year the company, a division of Colonial Savings, earned the 2005 MultiSite Lender Artist of the Year award. The company received the same award for 2006.

Prime Alliance's Dan Green, executive vice president, said, "CU Members Mortgage has mastered the use of our system to help multiple credit unions become the logical first choice for their members' real estate lending needs. This award is our way of recognizing them. Pointing out their special qualities helps us all learn from them."
CU Members Mortgage originates more than $4 billion in FHA, VA, conventional and single close construction loans annually. Its portfolio exceeds $8 billion.
CU National Mortgage and Shiloh of Alexandria FCU also won awards, both for Significance in Lending.
Over the past year, several members of the $1.2 million, 892-member credit union, became homeowners as the result of the collaborative effort of Shiloh of Alexandria FCU and CU National Mortgage that allows the CU to offer products that maintain low rates and expenses for the borrower.
"Every day, credit unions across America have the opportunity to put their members into homes of their own, with affordable mortgages. At CU National Mortgage, we are committed to helping credit unions fulfill this goal, in a variety of ways that will meet their needs – whether they're a very large or very small credit union." -
