SANTA ROSA, Calif. – Redwood Credit Union has recently re-elected three volunteer officials to its board for the 2006-2009 term.
Incumbents Kathy Sowers, Greg McGuirk and Jim Olmsted were all re-elected.
This year's officers are as follows: Sowers will serve as chair; Rod Dole, vice chair; Bob Steele, secretary; and McGuirk, treasurer. Olmsted will serve as board director.

Sowers has been a RCU volunteer since 1979, serving first on the supervisory committee and then as a director. Sowers has been an active volunteer for the United Way since 1995, and previously served on the board of the Sonoma County Administrative Management Council.
McGuirk has been on the board since 1987, after serving on the supervisory committee for seven years. McGuirk currently holds the position of Audit Manager in the Auditor/Controller's office for the County of Sonoma. He also serves on the board of directors for the credit union's wholly-owned subsidiary, RCU Services Group.
Olmsted has been an RCU official since 1993, and has served on the credit union's supervisory committee, as well as the board of directors for RCU Services Group. He is the principal of Olmsted & Associates, a land use planning consulting firm.
RCU has also announced this year's supervisory committee members as follows: Krishna Kumar will serve as committee chair; Steve Sharpe, secretary; and incumbent Lou Funk, supervisory committee director.
Funk has served on the RCU supervisory committee since 1978. Until retiring, Funk served as a hospital administrator for 25 years, including six years at Community Hospital in Santa Rosa. He serves on the board of directors of several local organizations including the Salvation Army, the Area Agency on Aging, the Elder Abuse Prevention Council and the Lytton Rehabilitation Council. Additionally, Funk is a Life Member of the California Hospital Association, Salvation Army, Blood Bank of the Redwoods, and Sons In Retirement.
