SAN ANTONIO – The $230 million Air Force Federal Credit Union announced Robert A. Glenn as the CU's new president/CEO.
Glenn replaces Tom Whitmore who left last September; Vice President Bob Sherwood had been serving as interim president before Glenn's May 1st start date.
With over 35 years of experience in the financial service industry, the credit union said Glenn will move forth with strategic plans to improve services and convenience to AFFCU members in San Antonio and to military service men and women members worldwide.

"I would consider myself successful if our members felt that they could get no better service or products from any other financial institution," said Glenn of his barometer for success.
Before coming to AFFCU, Glenn spent the last 16 years as a senior vice president at ORNL Federal Credit Union in Oak Ridge, Tenn., where he oversaw a division that included lending, information technology and CUSOs, while helping it grow to become the third largest credit union in Tennessee.
Throughout his career, he has compiled an extensive and distinguished record of assistance to the community. His volunteer service includes the positions of treasurer of Consumer Credit Counseling Service of East Tennessee; Region II Advisory Committee member for NAFCU; and secretary of CUES Greater Southern Council.
