LAS VEGAS – Thomas C. Davis, president of his own consulting firm and an industrial psychologist, has been elected chairman of NACUSO for 2006-07. Davis, who was elected May 16 following the annual business meeting of NACUSO during the group’s four-day conference, succeeds Ava Milosevich, secretary-treasurer of the SELCO Group. Elected vice chairman for the ensuing year is Dennis Pierce, president/CEO of CommunityAmerica CU. David Serlo, president/CEO of PSCU Financial Services was named treasurer and Michael Hales, president of Counter Intelligence Associates was named secretary. One new board member, Steve French, president of MemberMap, LLC, Cincinnati, was elected. NACUSO, which has been without a full-time CEO since January 2005, said its search committee, headed by Pierce of CommunityAmerica, is continuing to screen candidates with the help of D. Hilton Associates. Serving as acting CEO has been Victor Pantea, head of his own consulting firm, assisted by acting COO, Judy Sandberg, vice president-strategic direction for Gateway Services Group, LLC.

NACUSO said Sandberg and Pantea received a new “vote of confidence from the board for their leadership of NACUSO during this time of transition.”
